The Central California Family Crisis Center emergency womens shelter is always in need of somethings for the women and children who stay at the shelter. Typical needs-list items may include Toiletries, Under-garments, Toys, etc.

Most Items Can Be Dropped Off At

Treasure's Thrift Store
10 a.m. - 4 p.m., Monday - Friday
located at 88 E. Mill Street, Porterville, CA 93257.

Dropping off your donations at Treasures Thrift Store is quick and easy. All you have to do is pull into the side parking lot, walk up to the door and someone can assist you in unloading your items.

If you would like your donated items to go directly to the Women's Shelter and not be sold in the store, all you have to do is let the staff member know. Your donated items will be set aside and delivered to the Shelter.

Many people, community groups, and businesses help victims of domestic violence by providing materials or a service. Appliance Repair Shelter Maintenance

Treasures Thrift Store:

Items such as clothing, toys, high chairs, etc. may also be donated to the Treasures Thrift Store located at: 88 E. Mill Ave, Porterville, CA 93257. These donations still help victims of domestic violence and homelessness as the proceeds from the Thrift Store go directly to support the women and children at the shelter.

Cell Phone Recycling:

Your old cell phones can be recycled here at Family Crisis Center and the proceeds will benefit the women and children at the shelter.

Christmas Came Early For Our Clients.

Porterville area nurses donated back packs, clothing, school supplies and gift cards to our agency. We would like to greatly thank, Carrie Carrillo, Norma Jean Franco, Tim Boone Angela Vera, Marti Pearson, Kelly Ranson, Debbie Vaughn Maria Martinez, Patricia Alvarado, Manuela Haberkorn, Lydia Rodriguez, Andrea Smith and Kathy Russell.

Recently collected a variety of toiletries in amazing bags along with stuffed animals for our agency. We are greatful for the giving nature of these young difference makers. A very sincere Thank You to everyone with Pleasant View 4-H from the Family Crisis Center. Keep up the good work.
