Please join Family Crisis Center in its mission to make the emergency Women's Shelter a calmer and more beautiful place for healing and transition.

How Do We Adopt a Room?

Easy!  Call the Family Crisis Center at 559-781-7462 and submit a simple application.

What Are Our Responsibilities If We Adopt a Room?

When you adopt a room you become responsible for making it functional for our clients.  This may entail new flooring, dresser, paint, shelves, etc..  You as a sponsor can do as much or as little in the upkeep of your adopted room.

 

How Long Must I Be a Sponsor For the Room?

We ask that you commit one year to the room you adopt.  You may withdraw at any time.  However, at the end of your one-year term you will certainly be offered the opportunity to keep your room.

A sign with your name on it will be placed on the door of the room you adopt.

 

Can Organizations/Individuals Combine Sponsorship?

Absolutely!  If you wish, you may collaborate with others for your adopted room and all names will be placed on the door of that room.  If you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to call Krystle Contreras, Volunteer Coordinator at 559-781-7462.
